Government Tourism Regulations

In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the following guidelines will be in effect through May 9, 2021:

  • Since Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, the island is excluded from the CDC travel requirement and you do not need to provide a negative molecular COVID-19 test result to return to the mainland United States. However, the CDC still recommends getting tested 3 – 5 days after arrival and staying home for 7 days post-travel.
  • An island-wide curfew will be in effect from 12:00AM to 5:00AM everyday. All guests must be in their guest rooms by the time the shelter in place order begins.
  • Beaches will be open for recreational use following social distancing guidelines, but public alcohol consumption will be prohibited.
  • Pool facilities are open and can operate at 50% capacity.
  • Gym reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 787-721-0303 EXT 6805. For Guests making a reservation, we will hold your gym time for up to 15 minutes after the hour. Walk-ins based on availability. Per the Government Executive Order, there is a maximum of 12 people allowed in the Fitness Center.
  • Local entertainment, such as shopping, tours, museums and restaurants, are open with a maximum of 50% capacity.
  • Restaurants are available for dine-in service up to 50% capacity until 9:00PM. Take out/delivery is allowed 24/7 if management so desires. Alcoholic beverage service is only available at your table when dining as bars remain closed on the island.

  • Daily Resort Charge will be added to the room rate and includes: Internet access; Fitness Center and tennis court access; exclusive beach access with chairs and umbrellas; piña colada tasting; daily recreational amenities, activities and tours; 20% off select spa services and other discounts; local/toll-free calls.
  • Mandatory one (1) night deposit required at time of booking. A 100% deposit may be required during certain peak travel times. Cancellation policies vary by booking type and time of year.


The Hotel facilities are 100% non-Smoking.


Children 18 years of age and younger stay free in their parent’s room when using existing bedding.


Pets are not allowed on the resort. Caribe Hilton is able to welcome guests and their service animals as outlined in Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is defined as any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Tasks performed can include, among other things, pulling a wheelchair, retrieving dropped items, alerting a person to a sound, reminding a person to take medication, or pressing an elevator button.
